Biography:

Marc D’Agostino is a filmmaker living and working in Philadelphia.  His work includes narrative fiction, multimedia installation and projection for dance and theater. 

Marc's short film “Adam and Evan” was awarded the Eastman Kodak Gold Award (first prize) for Excellence in the Craft of Filmmaking and was also awarded Best Narrative Short at the Philadelphia Film Festival “Festival of Independents” in 2009. He is a recipient of the Benjamin Lazaroff Award for excellence in screenwriting.  He is currently developing "the_source," a transmedia narrative about the end of the world.  The pilot for "the_source" won Best Drama and the Grand Prize at the Los Angeles Television Festival and Best Drama at the Independent Television Festival.  It has also screened at the New York Television Festival and the New Media Film Festival in San Francisco.  He is also a grateful recipient of 2010 PIFVA finishing funds for the project.  He earned his BA in Film and Cognitive Science from Hampshire College and his MFA in Film and Media Arts from Temple University.
