Biography:

Peter Kim (born January 20th, 1987) is an American film director, screenwriter, and producer currently living in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating high school in 2005, Peter joined the U.S. Marine Corps, where writing letters to home sparked his interest in the written word. Peter began his tutelage under notable Philadelphia playwright Bruce Graham and screenwriter Ian Abrams. Recognized as having an “ear for dialogue,” it was not long before Peter transitioned into film, producing three independent short films back-to-back. His directorial-debut, “Happiness is Iraq in my Rearview Mirror” is an official selection at the Philadelphia Asian-American Film Festival ’11.
