SUPERGIRL! FILM CHALLENGE

Friday, January 15, 2010 6 PM – the SUPERGIRL! 48 Hour Video Competition

Filmmaking teams are invited to create their own SUPERGIRL! themed
video. Teams will be given 48 hours to completely script, shoot and
edit their film. At the competition launch, on Friday January 15, teams will be given a
prop, a phrase and a character that MUST appear in the film. Prizes
will be awarded at the screening party on Saturday, January 23rd, 7pm

Philadelphia Independent Film and Video Association

FILM CHALLENGE DETAILS:

Take your best shot at creating a film that redefines who is a
SUPERGIRL! in 2010.

GUIDELINES
1. All footage must be shot within the 48 hour time period of the
project. The launch will begin at 6:00PM on Friday, January 15th.
Works must be delivered to NEXUS by Sunday, January 17th between 12 PM
and 6:30 PM.
2. The required character, phrase and prop must be seen on-screen.
3. The finished film must have credits at the beginning and/or end of film
4. The finished film (including credits) must be 5 minutes or less.
5. Films must be submitted on one of the following media: miniDV; a
USB flash drive/dvd with a Mpeg4 file or NTSC Quicktime file at
720×480 pixels.PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR SUBMISSION IS VIEWABLE.
6. Media should be labeled with the name of work, producers, director,
actors, music etc.
