PIFVA is hosting The Bryn Mawr Film Institute’s Open Screen on March 1, 2010

WHAT: PIFVA Hosts The Bryn Mawr Film Institute’s Open Screen

WHEN: Monday March 1, 2010 from 9-11pm
WHERE:  The Bryn Mawr Film Institute 824 W. Lancaster Avenue, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010
COST:   Free.

Meet us at 8pm in front of the theatre or an impromptu get together/mixer prior to the show.

We’ve been listening.  Many of you have asked for more opportunities to share work and network with other area filmmakers.  On Monday March 1, The Philadelphia Film and Video Association will host The Bryn Mawr Film Institute’s monthly Open Screen.  At 824 W. Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr, PA from 9-11pm.

We invite area filmmakers to screen their films shorts, docs, snippets or works-in-progress — just bring your film in DVD or VHS format, and we’ll run it on the BIG SCREEN.  Host will be PIFVA board member Michael Dennis.

Admission, refreshments, and praise (or criticism) from your peers will all be offered free of charge.  Even if you don’t have work to share, this is a great opportunity to meet and mix.

To have your film added to the screening schedule, just bring it to the theater box office, any time after 8:00 pm the day of the screening. Films are shown in the order registered.

Films or clips should be 10 minutes or less in length. For directions and more info about the venue, visit www.brynmawrfilm.org
