DIY DAYS Philadelphia – a place for connection, conspiracy and creativity

DIY Days is over and despite the unusual occurrence of a loud helicopter arriving to lift a compressor onto a building on Broad St around 7:30am, everything from that moment on was DIY on the 16th and 17th floors of the Terra Building at UArts. Around 300 people assembled and moved freely in and out of the two theater spaces, participating, listening and engaging in many ways. The Twitters were flying, video screens broadcasting and conversations filling the air. Thanks to the amazing work of all the volunteers and the vision of Lance Weiler and the Workbook Project.
